This Week in a Nutshell

Monday - Headed to Kings Pub in the evening and made friends with Roberta, the 23 year old waitress

Tuesday - Wrote a relatively cheery song about the financial crisis titled "Calling All Leaders"

Wednesday - Planned an epic journey for my 2 week break at the end of the month (stay tuned), then stayed up until 4:00 AM to watch the Cubs lose to the Dodgers (bummer)

Thursday - Been hanging out, planning trips and getting ready for tomorrow

That's been it so far this week. Tomorrow Mark, Charlie, Maya and I are taking a train in the morning to Nice, where we will spend our weekend. I've heard the French Riviera is a lavish city of wealth and beauty. We're staying right by the beach, so if it's warm, I'm guessing we will spend a good portion of our time there, while also exploring the surrounding towns Cannes and Monaco. We'll see if the Monte-Carlo Casino is in the cards as well. 

Also, thank you Aunt Patsy for never failing to send a birthday card. I'm 6,000 miles away, but you never miss a beat : )
